Located on the hills overlooking the center of campus is Mountainview College, housing approximately 1,100 students. The name was selected to reflect the scenic beauty and mountainous nature of New York. The four individual residential halls – Cascade, Hunter, Marcy, and Windham – were named after important peaks in the Adirondack and Catskill Mountains. Each hall houses between 250 and 300 residents.

Mountainview boasts a number of design features. In addition to being an all-suite community, Mountainview provides residents with a Discovery Center, study rooms, activity rooms, a computer lab, laundry facilities, a sand volleyball court, athletic fields, and an outdoor theater. The Mountainview College Council organizes many programs throughout the year, including King of the Mountain, a Semi-Formal, and Salamander Days.
