The Binghamton campus, spread over 887 acres on a wooded hillside above the Susquehanna River, features facilities that are modern, attractive, accessible and well-maintained.
Binghamton's extensive athletic facilities include two large gymnasiums with swimming pools, an indoor track, and basketball, volleyball, and racquetball courts. Additionally we have an Events Center which seats up to 8,000. Academic buildings house classrooms, lecture halls, computing facilities, and labs including a multi-climate greenhouse - one of the largest teaching and research facilities of its kind. Binghamton's excellent facilities for the Fine and Performing Arts include a world-class performance complex and the University Art Museum.
The University Union, which serves as a focal point for student activities, houses an array of facilities including meeting rooms, lounges, and programming space. It also houses the offices for student government and student organizations, and recreational facilities including billiards, bowling, and table tennis. Other amenities include a full service bank, Barnes and Noble bookstore and a variety of eating locations, including the Kosher Kitchen and the food court which offers Chinese food, Taco Bell, Sbarro pizzeria, a grill and a subway shop.
