Smith Hall is houses approximately 200 students and houses Hinman's Learning Community. There is one professional Resident Director and six Resident Assistants (RAs) who live in the building and are available to assist all Smith residents with their needs through providing both social and educational events in the hall, academic advising assistance, and being able to connect students with resources throughout the Binghamton University community. Smith Hall also houses Smith Hall Council, which is a student run hall government.
