Al Vos has been the Faculty Master of Hinman College since 1998. Al is also associate professor of English, and for many years was Director of the Undergraduate Program. Al has his PhD in English from the University of Chicago and has been at Binghamton University for over 30 years.
Al is an academic leader within Hinman's residential setting, working to bridge the gap between academic affairs and student affairs. He divides his time between teaching in English (often Shakespeare or Renaissance literature) and working in Hinman as an advisor, networker, program-generator, and an over-all great resource to Hinman.Al's office is located in HN 104 (right next door to the Hinman Office).
