New and Future Students

When you live on-campus, you’re always home.  And living on campus at New York's Premiere Public University is like moving to a close-knit neighborhood in a vibrant city.  Each of our communities feature their own student government, dining hall, quad, recreational facilities, traditions and culture, yet they're all just steps away from your classes and colleagues.

Our residential colleges immerse you in an academic and residential environment where first-year students can connect better to ideas that enrich your education and people who care about your success.  You'll live close to your fellow classmates and have greater access to instructors, making your first semester more interesting and engaging.

When you live on-campus at Binghamton your home is not just your room, but also all the people who make our residential life program so special. From your roommate, to your RA and RD, to the Faculty Master in your residential area – they’re all part of the community you’ll call home.   To help our students develop new friendships, each community offers hundreds of programs each semester, including some traditions such as co-ed football leagues, homecoming float competitions, and “dorm wars.”   Additionally, our staff can connect you with clubs, sports, organizations and resources so that you'll quickly find a place for yourself at Binghamton.
