Graduating Class

Area Recognition ceremony

Each year, our residential colleges and communities organize a special recognition ceremony to celebrate this special occasion.  Unlike the University Commencement, these ceremonies are much smaller and more personalized.  You and your friends will receive certificates and/or gifts from their respective communities.  In addition, each area has traditional awards, and usually features a senior speaker.  The ceremonies conclude with a reception for you and your guests; attendance is not limited.  These ceremonies are also prime photo opportunities for you to capture lasting moments with friends and former roommates.

Here are the awards that Dickinson Community offers each year.
